Intro to Foundation Paper Piecing
You will learn about the magic of foundation paper piecing including how to start, efficient fabric usage, and how to fix typical FPP mistakes.
For our project, we’ll be using a free pattern, Woven Star block. Plan to bring 2 pairs of light/dark fat quarters plus 1 background fat quarter, for a total of five fat quarters!
Class supplies: sewing machine, basic sewing supplies (pins, seam ripper, thread, bobbins, scissors, ruler, cutting mat, rotary cutter), add-a-quarter/add-a-quarter plus ruler, handful of coordinating fat quarters

| Skill Details: | Must have basic knowledge on sewing and use of your machine. This is not a sewing machine class, and you will need to understand how to operate your machine prior to this class. We will do our best to make sure that your machine is running and set up correctly, and will be available to answer questions, but we will not be teaching you how to use your machine. |
